Decent bike rack for the money
The bike rack was as described. It seems sturdy when strapped on. I have only transported one bike so far with no problems. I did not have any concern about the bike security. Will see how it does with two. The only negative I see if the clips for the straps could be more rounded. I bought for a Nissan Rogue and the clips felt like they were not fully engaging with tailgate, although the straps stayed tight,

Will Scratch Your Paint
We bought the Bones 2 to replace a 25 year old 3-bike Saris rack that we loved. The new one is of average quality in terms build, all plastic versus the previous metal rack. A major warning: the hard rubber pad that fits against a sedan trunk top will leave scratches, so you will need to cut a piece of rubber, tight foam, thick clothe, etc. to protect your finish. Our previous Saris rack used thick foam around its metal arms, offering superior protection. Other than that the instructions are terrible; just a few words would help in certain places. Pay attention to the words on the clips - they will show you where each clip should be placed. Also, we will be purchasing a bike beam for my wife's bike and I think that should come with the rack at no cost, otherwise the rack is useless for a bike without a horizontal beam. Would I buy this again? Probably not, would prefer a higher quality build even if a little more expensive.

Like the rack
Easy to assemble and easy to install before use. Light weight but sturdy. Well designed. Love the fact that when I was shopping I could put in my make and model of vehicle to get the right choice in your product line. Very happy

How to install side hatch huggers
I bought this model to fit my new CRV. I bought the hatch huggers as recommended for the side straps. It was difficult to install side straps so I talked to Saris and was told that I could just lay the straps with hugger inside and close the door - the straps would side like butter to the desired laocation. Doesn't work!! I've since figured out how to set the huggers at the right height and tape the strap outside to the taillight, then close door and remove tape and pull. This works for me. Saris needs better instructuions. Otherwise, the bike rack is great!

Solid but Cumbersome
Appears to be solid and sturdy but it’s a little heavy. And with the three straps on each side and the articulating ‘legs or arms’, it’s a little cumbersome to affix to the car. It’s a balancing act to position the feet of the arms and affix the straps onto the car. But once it’s attached to the car, it’s easy to mount the bike.

Perfect!
I bought this to get my bike to a Celebrate Trails Day event far from home. This was perfect for my car, and it was great to support a Celebrate Trails Day sponsor. I’ve never needed to transport my bike before, but this opens up a whole new set of opportunities.

Its solid
This trunk rack is really good, i use it on my 2014 honda accord...ive used different trunk racks in the past and after getting to my destination the straps were not as tight as i had them, rack moved a bit....but not this rack, like the title says...its solid, the independent legs and 4 straps really keep this thing grounded

Solid rack
Bike rack is sturdy. Instructions are lacking, especially if you have to use hatch huggers (like for a hatchback) but youtube videos helped. Once install is complete first time around- easy peasy after thar. I would recommend.
