Whether we have a long, hard-hitting day planned of shuttle laps at some of the chunkiest lines around town or are in full lift service mode, getting multiple laps in at the bike park, the Santa Cruz V10 is our weapon of choice for steep, technical terrain. Featuring 208mm of VPP suspension, the Santa Cruz V10 8 CC Frame is a force to reckon with on technical downhills and keeps us coming back for more after each lap. The VPP suspension travel is backed by Fox's Factory DHX2 rear coil shock to give us a hard-hitting and ultra-plush rear shock that excels in downhill racing. This year, the V10 got revised, giving us the same ultra-durable, fast, and composed platform we know and love for hitting high-speed chunk, but now with more adjustments so we can get our fit just right. The V10 8 CC Frame features three independent headset cups that help dial in our preferred reach, three adjustments at the lower link to get our head tube angle and bottom bracket height just right, and three rear axle adjustments for optimizing our chainstay length to our riding style and needs, giving us a total of 27 different combinations. With the plethora of fine-tuning adjustments, we can precisely customize this downhill rig to fit our body and riding style. Additional Santa Cruz V10 8 frame features include downtube and chainstay protectors, a shuttle guard, internally-tubed cable routing, a threaded bottom bracket, and a replicable derailleur hanger. To wrap it all together, Santa Cruz equipped the V10 8 frame with their premium Carbon CC layup for ultimate strength, low weight, and stiffness.
