Our dreams are made of fresh asphalt, groovy gravel backroads, light-duty singletrack, and rooty, rocky paths through the forest. And, that's what we can ride (and more) with Santa Cruz's Stigmata Carbon CC Rival Gravel Bike. Intentional component choices make this bike a must-have in today's gravel grinding realm, and details like Santa Cruz's top-of-the-line CC carbon lay-up give this bike the lightweight efficiency, stiffness, and strength it needs to conquer the world. Or, at least, all the gravel roads in it. The Stigmata's slightly revamped carbon layup imparts knowledge honed from the Highball, and that helps smooth out our ride with more compliance and dampening vibrations. The Stigmata CC Fork also uses that same carbon for stiffness and strength, but Santa Cruz swaps in 12mm thru-axles for a gravel-oriented option that improves ride quality in turn. The completely modernized geometry features a 71.5-degree head angle and 74-degree seat angle on a 54cm model, plus a lower bottom bracket height, making it a competitor among top-shelf road and gravel bike options. Its geometry ensures we feel at ease and on top of the world when we're exploring endlessly or swerving on singletrack, and yet keeps the versatility of a gravel bike that's just as ready to take on a 'cross course.

The Stigmata is replete with features that make it a modern ride that accommodates every rider's need. The smartly spec'd SRAM Rival 1 drivetrain ensures smooth shifting no matter what and won't break the bank when it comes time to finding replacement parts. Internal cable routing improves aerodynamics and keeps our cockpit tidy, and stealth routing ensures we're able to run a dropper post if need be. Three water bottle cage mounts are available to ensure we stay hydrated, and fender mounts keep both us and the bike cleaner.
