Most trail bikes tune the suspension around one pivot that handles both pedaling and braking forces at the same time, which means every setup is a tradeoff. The Split Pivot design puts those forces on separate points in the linkage so the suspension can do both jobs well without either suffering. The result is a bike that climbs without pedal bob and brakes without the rear end locking up mid-corner.
