Great Shoes!
Have found these shoes to fit well, offering sturdy support and comfort; on & off the trail.

Comfort and Performance
On my third pair. Use them for military use. Great comfort however they do not seem to last more than a year before they lose tread and begin to fall apart. More durability would get 5 stars.

Quality and comfort
I like the fit, feel and quality of these. I have had other Salomon shoes similar to these and they are wearing well, too. I do not like the lace up system so cut the laces out and re=laced them with traditional laces.

Sole separated after 1 year
Owned 7 pairs of the pro 3d. Very comfortable. Main problem is the last 2 pair I’ve owned the sole separated after 1 year

Worst shoes I've owned in years
This is my second pair of Salomons after the first pair would not fit right and had issues with the tounge constantly falling out of place, causing discomfort. I switched to these shoes and found them opposite of the last shoes. These were too tight, leading my toes to bunch up against each other - which led to massive blisters while hiking. These do seem to provide decent support, but finding a pair that will actually fit you may be challenging. They are quite airy, which can be a good thing, but leaves them on the colder side when it's cold outside. They seem to be primarily plastic and the soles haven't held up well after roughly 200 miles walked in them. Compared to my cheaper shoes from another backcountry/outdoor company, these leave a lot to hope for. I am nothing but disappointed in the Salomon brand and don't want to continue wearing these after trying over and over again to like them. While most people I know that love them state it takes a while to like them, I think over 200 miles and still getting blisters is beyond enough time. While I'm sure Salomon's are good for some, they are terrible for me and I'll never consider the brand again. That said, this shoe does not have the same issue with the tounge of the shoe sliding around as it has a loop in the middle to hold it in place, resolving the design issue of many of their other shoes.

Sizing is way off
Pretty displeased. I am an 11.5. On a show measuring device. All other shoes including Salomon are 11.5. These fit so loose. They are rather wide. I have a pretty high volume foot and am technically on the wider end of the spectrum. These feel too wide. Worse however is the fact that they are at least a full size to size and a half larger tan stated. My foot wants to slip out every time I step. Very mad since I threw them on for the day and left the house and now I can’t return them.

Classic and Bomber
I wore XA Pro 3D's on all 7800+ miles of the triple crown of hiking (roughly 16 pairs across those 3 trails). They've been my go-to hiking shoe since 2016. Secure, stable, great protection.

Great purchase
It’s only been a few weeks since I bought my XA Pro 3D V9, but so far I love them. Very comfortable and they have become my everyday shoes.

Hiking
These shoes have been great for fishing and hiking. The pull laces loosen over time but just need a quick retighten.
