I bought these a month ago and used for a ski day at Grand Targhee, a snow coach day through Yellowstone, and a day tubing and snow fun with nephews. The front pockets are small and hard to access. The thigh pocket is more functional. The fit was perfect, the insulation is great (only wore thin long layer underneath and was perfectly warm in high teens temps). The zippers for the thigh vents are better quality than the pockets, easily accessible, have good mesh to keep snow out and located well. I chose these due to the high waterproof and breathability ratings and they performed well in those aspects.

Great pant
Haven’t try in the field yet, but these pants are well-designed and the quality of assembly seems fine. Fit comfortably and can feel the heat with the insulation.
