Toundra Pro CSWP Boot
The Salomon Women's Toundra Pro CSWP Boot isn't some dainty après boot you'll see tip-toeing between puddles snowbanks. This burly workhorse means business when it comes to protecting your foot from winter's wrath. Salomon's waterproof, breathable Climashield membrane shields your foot from fresh snowfall, and the boot's Aerogel insulation ensures warmth in downright cold temperatures. There's also a faux fur lining that feels soft against the skin, in case your wool socks start to sink. Underfoot, the Toundra Pro features a dual-layer midsole that combines cush with responsiveness for all-day comfort, and the Ice Grip rubber sole retains traction in subzero temps so you can hike on slippery surfaces more confidently.

Holy warmth and comfort
I’ve been wearing for a few years now and hike a lot in the white mountains of NH winter. These boots are toasty on the feet. Sometimes a little too much. I tend to wear a thinner sock if it’s above 0. My first pair last amazing for the amount I hike and was very pleased. So I bought a new pair. They had a Seem defect about 11 months in and not wearing to much. I reach out at they credited me for the boot. The company is outstanding and so are the boots.

Super Warm!
Bought these to wear in the Arctic Circle in February. I wore wool snow socks over a wool line and the boots in -22F. I was outside for hours in the boots and have to say my feet never got cold. They are extremely warm boots. They fit really well however I did order them a half size larger to allow for the socks. They are a little stiff but easy to get used to .

I bought these for winter use in freezing and below freezing temperatures for Search and Rescue. We operate in rugged conditions and these are sturdy, supportive, and WARM!

As Good as Advertised
This is a quality shoe. My feet stay warm after hours of snowshoeing.

Perfect winter hiking boot
These boots are comfortable, warm, and lightweight. I ordered my regular hiking boot size of 8.5 and found these to be a bit too small, I am reordering in size 9. Looking forward to winter hikes in these!

Not waterproof
I’ve owned two pairs of these boots, I thought the first pair was defective. After about 3 weeks of wearing them I noticed they would be soaking wet on the inside within an hour of wearing them. I wasn’t always in deep snow, if I was just walking on the snow surface they would soak through with water, I’m thinking through the seems. Now on my second pair just the first day of wearing them the insides are soaked with water, I had high hopes as they truly are warm boots. But they are the least waterproof boots that claim to be fully waterproof that I’ve owned.

Perfect winter boot
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I love these boots. They were comfortable the minute I slipped my feet into them. I went for a short two mile hike through the snowy woods and they didn't hurt my feet at all. Very light weight and warm. This is actually my second pair. My first pair I used for snow shoeing and the bindings did wear through the fabric on the top. I wore them every day all winter long for 7 years. I was very happy that I was able to buy the same boot & style after 7 years.

Best winter boot ever!
I read so many reviews and needed to buy the best safest winter boot, as a letter carrier in Winnipeg Manitoba, you need the warmest, driest, safest boot! I found it! And it’s pretty!

Not warm
They are comfortable. The grip is decent (not trail runners good, but good enough). Sizing is perfect. I'm a size 7. Bought a 7. They fit with space for double socks. They are waterproof indeed. Unfortunately, they are not warm. I have been hiking in them all week and every time the temperature goes between 5 degrees celcius and zero, the entire soles of my feet start to feel so very cold after about an hour outside. I've only had them for a week, so it's not because they are old. Plus, i wear a pair of lightweight thermal socks AND a pair of thick marino wool socks. Either I got a defective pair or the company's information is misleading. Either way, I'm now still searching for winter hiking boots, which sucks because these are really comfortable when my feet aren't freezing.
