Awesome

These are shoes for an alpha male and or female. absolute beasts. Nothing but raw, unrestricted power. Hardcore running applications. These must have been developed in a science lab. The molecular alignment is just supreme. They tickle my fancy indeed. I use these off-road running shoes for running off-road and man do they ever run good off of the road. Its like exercising with a 4x4 Lamborghini under all three of my feet.

Good but not for me…

I had my first ran on these shoes. It was great to beginning of the ran, and there was a big BUT… Let me start by saying that these shoes are comfortable and the end sole are grippy, and that’s about what I like about these shoes. When I got to the gravel part of the trail, I can feel the gravel on my mid foot. Although I managed to get to the top of the trail, on the way down when I felt the discomfort… To some up I went home with the Blister on the bottom of my right foot, I guess they call it The Ball of the Foot… The discomfort happened in about 3 miles before end of my ran, so pretty much I’m running through the pain…

The cold shrinks your feet?

I love Salomon shoes and worn them for years. I am very excited about the new wide widths. Not sure why cold weather shoes (GTX) don't come in Wide though? In fact, we wear thinker socks in winter and so need even more space in winter so the GTX shoes should be the first that come in Wide? Same for the spiked shoes ! Wide GTX shoes please ! Someday; Wide, GTX spiked shoes ! Cheers John

Happy I bought my 1st pair

My foot measures 12 1/2 D and everything fits different. I have to buy wide in a lot of footwear. Ordered these in 13 wide and they are perfect for me. Super light and great traction. I wear them casually as well and get compliments on my "nice shoes". Glad I took a chance on fit as this was my first pair of Salomon's but probably not my last. Salomon but not the last.

Great

Grip on these speedcross 2 wide are great, I think the (wide) is where most if not all the shoes should be. The heel has great impact protection, the front also but good do with abit more in the front half of the sole. greta idea with the pocket to hide the draw pull.

Wide

Love the Speedcross. Light weight and comfortable. Great for golfing and softball. One draw back, wish I more options on color. Your line of wide shoes available is limited ):

Brilliant as always

These are now my 6th pair of speedcross and are the only brand that I return to without fail. This time I’m opted to try the wide fit as I have always had to buy a whole size larger than I am in the regular due to how narrow they are. Even going smaller, these are a perfect fit, just with more room for my toes. I haven’t done a lot in them, just a few very wet and muddy trail races through peat bog and rivers! but as always they have been super grippy and my confidence to tackle the dirty stuff has remained high at all times. Only thing I’d like is more choice of colours in the wide fit. But over all would highly recommend.

Fantastic shoes

Well-built, shockingly light, great sole. I exercise in them in my home gym, and hike up & down steep mountains in them.

This is a dumb requiremen
