Grippy, roomy, solid
I'm using this shoe in size 14 for long hikes (allowing a bit more toe room) and size 13 for trail running. The toe box is roomy without slop. The soles are quite grippy on rocks. Haven't worn them quite enough to describe durability.

great shoes for golfing!!
This is my 2nd pair of Salomon shoes that I have purchased for golfing. I walk the course as much as I possible can (66 years old). My feet have never been a problem. I could walk for days in these boots! If you guys would make a single pair of shoes with more golf-like cleats they would sell!!

Great shoes!
Bought these shoes for my husband. They are true to size and comfortable right out of the box. He liked them so much he bought another pair in a different color.

Complaint
I purchased a pair of speed cross 6 less than a month ago and they seem to have worn down on the sole already. I will be sending in a warranty claim to ask for my money back as this is the 2nd pair of Salomon trainers I have had issues with.

Perfect Trail Shoe
I've been using Speedcross for trail and Spartan races for years and could not be happier. I have never found a fault. The grip and comfort are stellar!

Maybe 10k max distance on soft terrain only
Super grippy rubber purely on soft trail, anything else is hugely painful. The lack of a rock plate or supple midsole makes these painful when tree roots or rocks come into play. They aren’t super secure in the ankle region, I wouldn’t trust my ankle with these on anything too steep. The max these can run is 10k, anything beyond hurts. Speedgoats still reign in every department but lug depth. These shine in mud and soft stuff

Right balance of grip and speed
I purchased these ahead of a hiking trip to Colorado and they worked amazing going Elbert and then on a couple of other less steep but muddier hikes. I questioned whether the lugs would be too much for what we were hiking but they seemed to work great.
