Tight Fit
- Size Bought:
- L
- Weight:
- 195
I'm 6ft and 195lbs. Probably carrying an extra 10-12lbs of blubber but otherwise in good shape with an athletic build. I found that the large was a bit too tight. Even in the arms. If you aren't very lean, or like your jackets to fit as tight as a ladies yoga pant, I'd recommend sizing up. I'm reordering an XL. Otherwise, the jacket seemed nice and of good quality. Hoping to will work will for early spring mtx riding and hiking.

So good I bought a second one
Multi purpose outside jacket: fits a little small. Great warmth: I use it mainly for cycling & skiing in the winter in Vancouver/ Whistler

GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER
I purchased this product after monitoring it online for months and even trying it on at a store. It fits like a glove and is excellent for outdoor usage. It's also light if you prefer not to wear heavy jackets/parkas or plan to be active. Best used for -5 to +5 celsius. I'm about 5"11, 200 lbs with a 17" neck and I bought the XL. I have a Large for another model and it fit a little snug. My suggestion is if you're around my size, get the XL.

Clean, and functional design
Well thought out jacket that is truly multi purpose. Running, mountain biking, Nordic skiing ,…. Love the Gortex membrain that provides wind protection! I would add it to the back of the jacket as well!

Running experience
I bought this jacket for running and I am fully impressed that it is really functional with Seamless T- shirt and also with agile running T-shirt. My experience right now and recomendation is for temperatures -5 to +5 °C.

Breathable, Lightweight, Windproof! Love it
Really impressed so far by this Cross Country Ski jacket. Perfect for +3/-3C temps. It works as advertised, incredibly breathable. I was afraid to heat up and get too warm when pushing the pace, but the jacket felt the same on casual pace all the way to full sprint uphill. Truly impressed. I sized up to have a more relaxed natural fit, but it is true to size if you are looking for an adjusted fit - typical nordic fit. Only thing I wish it had is a chest pocket like the other Salomon mid-layers do.
