Excellent if odd shaped!
I really wasn’t sure what to expect with these bouts, and now, I love them! The sole shape feels quite natural and isn’t tedious to get used to, very natural actually. Love them so far!

Elixir mid
I’ve been a salomon fan for years, and these boots didn’t disappoint. I was intrigued by the description and specs. Support is like a mid but also soft around the foot. I did a 9.6 mile hike third day wearing them, no blisters or undue foot pain. Great grip on the sandstone but watch out for scree!

Solid comfort + traction, terrible waterproofing
I got these for Christmas but didn’t put them to the test until July when I embarked on a (presently 2 months in) trek through BC. I’ve done a solid amount of day hikes in them and been overall pleased with their comfort and the confidence I feel with their traction and stability. That said, today we went for a hike on Vancouver Island following an evening of rain - not actively raining on the hike at all - and my feet got beyond soaked. I questioned myself, “I THOUGHT these were touted as waterproof”, and now checking back, they are. Soaked through just from damp brush; 6kms in at the summit I had to take them off and actually dump water out and wring my socks. All this is to say very comfortable and great grip, but absolutely don’t buy these with any expectations of dryness for inclement days.

I just made a 9 hour walk, and they where very comfortable, only few brouses in the toes, but i think was for using wrong socks

Comfortable hiking shoe
A very comfortable hiking shoe that I wore during long-distance hikes in South Africa. Excellent support around my ankle and I enjoyed the extra external cushioned heel support. With the varying terrains the added areas in the collar and tongue increased the foot-hugging comfort, provided stability and balance.

Very comfortable
Have not put a lot of miles on these yet, but so far very comfortable. They have very comfortable soles. Will give a longer review after a few backpacking trips.
