Why We Like The Assassin Snowboard

We don't even bother checking the snow report on our way to the mountain when we're riding the Salomon Assassin. This directional twin all-mountain board is packed to the gills with features that allow it to thrive on everything from park to powder.

The key to this versatility is the medium flex that can be manipulated for presses in the park and to initiate turns, while still providing enough stability to be ridden at speed all over the mountain. Working with the medium flex to provide an exceptional ride in all snow conditions is the super versatile Rock Out Camber. This profile mixes a flat section between the inserts with camber under both feet to provide a stable platform with more forgiveness than a fully cambered profile.

Total Control

I picked this board after spending a lot of time reading / viewing reviews and looking into its features and it does exactly what it boasts. I wanted a board that would give me a little more feel under the feet and forgiving on the edges and it does it perfectly. It holds an edge soundly and you can feel the pop when you come out of our turns which easily transitions to the next turn. It’s light and maneuverable enough for jumps and bends well for buttering. It’s what you need if you are on the east coast to get through some of the toughest conditions.

Great all around board

Great board, I'm really happy with it. I got one last season and loved every minute with it on the hills. It's lightweight and great for carving.
