Maybe the perfect shoes.
These feel so good on my feet. Even though they’re substantial and padded they fit close to my foot and I don’t feel like I’m walking around with blocks on my feet, which happens so often with shoes like this. Also not too heavy. Feet stayed warm and dry in a bad rainstorm. I love these.

More for walking than trekking
Fit is tight, good weight, going to try some long walks soon

Love them
Love these, they stick to trails and are even good in snow, excellent all around and so comfortable, they are warmer than my snowboots

Good But ...
I wore these on a recent hiking adventure and the shoelaces gave out. Nice shoe but what good does it do if quality of shoelaces fails.

Pros: Look sharp, no blisters or chaffing. Stretchy upper is cushy to wear. Cons: Stiff sole is hard on sensitive feet. Stretchy upper allows a lot of foot motion, sliding around. I found these shoes fairly hot to wear.
