    Perfect Dog Sleeping Bag!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Ruffwear hit it out of the park again with this one! We do a lot of late fall and winter camping in the Midwest and this is perfect for my 60lb collie/shepherd mix! She used to crawl into my sleeping bag, but now shes crawls into her bag, gets zipped up and falls right to sleep. With her in her own sleeping bag I get a better nights sleep because she isn't trying to crawl into my bag. The bag is lightweight, yet warm and insulates from the ground when combined with the Highlands Pad. I was worried that my dog wouldn't like being zipped into a sleeping bag, but as you can see by the picture she doesn't seem too bothered. I leave the sleeping bag out when I'm at home and she takes her daily naps on top of the bag. I highly recommend the Highlands Sleeping bag especially if you do any type of cold weather camping. Perfect Dog Sleeping Bag!

    awesome concept

my over sized dog always winds up sleeping on my legs when I go outside this has helped him actually sleep better and when it's to cold I just zip him in!!

      ALL NIGHT LONG

If you think this bag is too expensive for your dog, think again. Imagine sleeping all night long without your dog moving around and trying to get in your bag because he is too cold. This is probably one of my favorite investments. It comes with its own stuff sack and fits great in my pack.

      ALL NIGHT LONG

      GSD mix loves it!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have a 56 lb GSD mix with medium hair and had a hard time keeping him warm when backpacking. I had used an old thermarest, had him wear a sweater/old ski jacket, and had a light blanket over him. Still shivered. This sleeping bag helped a ton though, and he loves curling into it. Has a ton of extra room for him to not feel "stuck" in it and it keeps the heat in. Lightweight.

      Might Need Another One

I purchased this for my always-cold-while-camping short-hair dog (Indie) because my husband and I were tired of having to spoon with him to keep him warm at night. I truthfully thought a dog sleeping bag might be a bit gimmicky, but it's actually really nice to have. I open the sleeping bag up, Indie curls right up on it and then I zip it up around him. No more waking up to a shaking dog! He's about 60 lbs and it's really cozy - I feel like if he was a bigger dog though he wouldn't fit. Our long hair dog tried it out too and seemed a bit jealous - we might have to get a second dog sleeping bag!

        Love it

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought this sleeping bag for the pups and they absolutely love it. It is a little bit thinner than I had anticipated but it still rocks. We can't wait to go camping again so that they can use it!
