The ski's rounded tip lets it float over soft snow instead of diving under the surface, while full-length steel edges hold on steeper pitches most cross-country skis can't handle. The BC X 6 boot's NNN-BC compatibility and rigid ankle support carry that control down to the foot, and the two-piece aluminum poles adjust from 90 to 150cm to match changing terrain and pace.
