Usually when we read "TI" we assume burly, stiff, and built to go straight. Boy did the Rossignol Sender 104 TI Ski make us look like fools. The titanal laminate from the name in this ski does provide ample stiffness and power transfer, but the short turn radius and freestyle-inspired rocker profile ensure we are not stuck on railroad tracks. With these skis, we can pivot turns, stomp airs, and slash turns in the biggest terrain we can find.

Completely Satisfied
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

I have been through 3 pair of the old Soul 7 skis, and wanted something as near to that as I could get. Several people steered me to these. I ski telemark, so I can't speak for the fixed heel experience. I got them near the end of the season, but had great luck with everything from some deep powder to slushy spring moguls, corny groomers, and toe-curling hard pack. They have been good in everything. I bought the 178, and that has been just right for me, an old guy 5'10" and 170 pounds, still skiing the chutes. There probably are better choices if you are mostly on hard snow. They're ok, and hold the edge without chattering on hardback (way better than the Soul 7s on that kind of snow), but that's not their strong point. Perfect for Utah conditions.

Superb All Terrain Powder Ski
I have skied this ski several times this season, and because of the dry conditions in BC have not really had a chance to try it in full conditions, but with a ski like this I think the characteristics in other terrain is just as important unless you only ski powder. After several days skiing on challenging conditions I can say that this is a more than competent ski in all conditions. It may not hold a high speed edge on hard snow as well as my Pursuit 800's also from Rossignol, but you can still load it up and ride the edge with minimal chatter. In moguls, both soft and hard it is quick and responsive. In some soft moguls with about 4-6 inches of snow, I could really start to see how effortless it is in those conditions. The waist is relatively wide for these skis at 104 mm, but this is not problematic in hard conditions and should be fabulous when the powder finally arrives. The graphics are muted, but cool as they hearken back to the iconic Rossignol Strato skis of the late 1960's and 70's. Overall this is a great ski to buy - whether it is your only ski, or you pair it with a narrow set of hard carving skis, this is truly an all mountain ski but with a strong powder capacity. May not be the best ski if you ski entirely in hard eastern conditions, but a great ski for out here - even after a good day in the high powder after all, you have to get home! I am about 170 lbs and 6 feet tall, and the 178 length is perfect for me. I am a CSIA Level 2 Ski Instructer, with decades of experience skiing.

The more you push, the more fun you get! Fun ski on hard packed snow, fun in the off piste. Really good ski for the whole mountain.

Great powder ski
Really enjoyed them. I feel they could have a bit more edge curve to assist in on piste skiing. Loved them as soon as there was 20+mm of snow cover though
