    Rome Blur 156

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've been been on the Rome Blur for awhile now, and I am completely blown away at how fun this board is. I'm so surprised how flexible yet stable this board is. The pop is honestly unreal! I got this looking for a stable camber board to ride at snowboard, and was expecting to sacrifice the playfulness of my soft, flat cambered park board, but that simply was not the case. I would recommend this board to anyone looking for a do everything, all mountain board. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

    Amazing board

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I rode the 156 Blur the past week up at Snowbird, got close to 4 feet of snow during my time there... Needless to say this board goes! From powder to hardpack its a smooth stable ride with a LOT of pop. The Stay positive Camber profile really impressed me with how effortless it was to charge powder and I can't say enough about this boards pop, great snowboard. Highly recommend as a quiver killing big mountain board that rips jumps too. Also should mention that setting your stance back a touch on powder days makes this thing a blast!

    5'7'' 165 lbs Demoed the 156cm

The Rome Blur is fun. It's a directional all-mountain board. The first few days I had the board for demo we rode in the park. I twinned out the stance as much as possible. I was pleasantly surprised on how flexible and relatively easy it was to press on this board. The camber profile made for a good time popping off booters too. The last couple days I had the board we got some fresh snow, so I set the stance back and got ready to really test the board's all-mountain capabilities. It had plenty of float and was quite responsive in powder. The board was stable on landings and even with the directional shape it wasn't too difficult to ride switch. I would love to ride this board some more.

Awesome board that loves steeps & speed!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

So first off, I can see myself falling in love with this board feel quick! Mainly rode the Snowbird, Utah with this and this board loves going fast and likes it steep. After inspecting it, it has a rocker early rise at the nose with a set-back stance and a camber between the inserts. Fairly stiff, and highly responsive board. I did not ride any pow with it but I know it'll kill it. No wonder why this guy got a goodwood award. Very poppy, I say the rods help with that as well as adding torsional stiffness. I love that it has a sintered base and it is quick! I am 5'7" and 180 lbs. I rode the 156cm but I would have liked to try and get the 159cm. If you have questions, feel free to contact me.

    Best of the Best!!!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The BLUR is hands down my favorite free ride board. On a pow day its hard to beat, on a groomer day it can't be beat. its not that great in the park but if you are used to a stiff directional board it is do-able. Seriously love this board, as long as its not a park day this is my weapon of choice.

    Charge with Precision

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This board is so responsive. The pop is incredible, and it is also one of the lightest boards you can get under your feet. The set back shape allows for easy float in pow, but switch tricks are still a breeze. All mountain slayer.

    The new guard

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love everything about this board. Its a departure from the norm into a lightweight super responsive, aggressivly shaped demon equally at home on groomers and pow. The uniqueness however comes from a fairly soft mid area that allows such easy turn initiation and added control when locked into tight carves. The Blur turns like a beast, is snappy but still super playful and likes to float. It may be lost a little on lower skilled riders but for the all mountain ridr that knows how to really turn a board, this is the funnest new board design I've ridden in some time!
