Lock On Grips

CNC-machined refers to a manufacturing process where computer-controlled machines precisely cut and shape materials. This ensures that bike grips are made with high accuracy, allowing for complex designs that fit perfectly on handlebars. This precision is crucial for performance and safety, as it prevents grips from slipping during rides. 6082-series aluminum is known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, making it both lightweight and durable. This type of aluminum is ideal for bike components because it can withstand the stresses of riding while keeping the overall weight of the bike down, enhancing performance and handling.

Lock On technology features a secure locking mechanism that attaches the grips firmly to the handlebars, preventing them from slipping or rotating during use. This provides a more stable and reliable grip, which is essential for maintaining control while riding, especially in challenging conditions.

Each grip version offers unique characteristics: Super Comfort is designed for maximum cushioning, ideal for long rides. Soft provides a gentle feel for a more relaxed grip. Medium strikes a balance between comfort and control. Kevlar grips are engineered for enhanced durability and resistance to wear, making them suitable for aggressive riding styles. Choosing the right version depends on your riding preferences and style.

The claimed weight, such as 4.1 ounces (116 grams) for a pair of grips, is crucial for cyclists who aim to optimize their bike's performance. Lighter components can improve acceleration and handling, making it easier to climb hills and maneuver. Knowing the weight helps you make informed decisions about your bike's overall setup.

To determine the best grip version for your riding style, consider the type of riding you do. If you prioritize comfort for long-distance rides, the Super Comfort option may be ideal. For aggressive riding, the Kevlar version offers durability. If you prefer a balance of comfort and control, the Medium grip is a great choice. Assess your needs and preferences to select the right grip for your experience.
