Classics become classic for a reason.

The Red Wing Heritage Classic Moc Boot was built with two things in mind: the safety and comfort of the workers who wore them. The Traction Tred rubber soles are built with minimal tread in order to help shed mud and dirt, while still maintaining the grip you need for varied job sites. Leather insoles and cork midsoles provide support and comfort, and become more comfortable over time as they mold to your feet. Goodyear welt construction and durable nickel eyelets ensure these boots will stand the test of time.

    Will last forever

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 150lbs

These boots are made to last but they also look awesome. They are a little stiff at first but starting to break in. I sprayed them with some leather protector and they look the same as before I sprayed them which is good. I got the oil slick color and they go great with dark jeans.

Only downside is breaking them in

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 10
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 180lbs

These boots are awesome - well-made, cool (they get a lot of compliments), and comfortable. Caution though, they take a couple weeks to wear them in (unless for some reason you already have calluses built up on your ankles where the boot hits. Once you do, though, you'll be in heaven.

    Solid boots!!

This month is my birthday, and the gift has arrived!

Normally wear a 9.5, but I got a 8.5, and I think I made the correct choice, time will tell. Lets see the break-in period.

    Solid boots!!

My grandpa wore these boots. The design is timeless and classic RedWing. I'm on my third pair, they last on average about 4-5 years. You can get them resoled, and they'll probably last another 4-5 years. They get more and more comfortable the more you wear them, break-in period is about a week or so. During that period leather actually starts to form to your foot and ankle. They are keep out the rain and snow, very well. Wore them for years walking to work in Seattle winters. If I could only keep one pair of boots from the many pairs I own, it would be these, every time. Some reviews claim they run large, but I've found that I size down from my sneaker size.

    Great Boots!

These are great boots! They are definitely a little large so I would buy them a little smaller, maybe a half size. If you are a looking for a solid boot with tons durability then this is a boot for you!

    One of the greatest

I say it is one of the greatest because I love every pair of boots I have bought from Red Wing. These boots are comfortable and built for work and to last.

These are some of the best work boots I have owned. They are made of high quality leather and with that being said they do take some time to break in. Once you break them in the leather molds to your feet and they are super comfortable. They do run a bit big and I had to go down a full size in mine but if you are unsure about sizing I would try and go to one of the Red Wings stores and get sized up before buying because they will fit tight at first but once they break in they will get looser and you do not want the boot to loose. Also Red Wings have a great warranty on them and if your soles every get really warn down just take them to their shop or send them in and they will give you a new sole either for free or for really cheap!!

    Great Boot, tough fit

These boots are a main stay of classic work boots. No one can downplay the quality and longevity of these boots. The one downside is the break-in period, after which you'll have boots that gently cradle your feet for life! The break-in period makes it difficult to judge what size to get initially. boots that will fit well next year will not be comfortable the day they arrive. You've got to size a bit down and let time do the work.

Never felt quality like this before!

I received these Red Wings a little over a month ago and have been putting them through work on a daily. I read to expect the leather and foot bed to be very stiff and a little uncomfortable, but much like breaking in a new puppy, they quickly fall in line and become your best friend. As for sizing it is true these boots are big! I normally wear a 9, but I get a snug fit wearing thicker socks in a size 8. The stylish appeal of these boots is just a plus compared to their practical utility. If the considerably high price is scaring you a little, I would say jump on these cause once these boots are on your feet regrets will be the last thing on your mind as you’ll feel the quality see the quality in person and know these boots mean business and are going to last you quite a while.

When considering this boot, I normally wear an 11 in New Balance and Nike. What size should I go with in these?
