Montana guide Andy Carlson set out to build on the classic gray Parachute Adams, and the Rainy's Parachute Adams that came out of it has become a genuine staple across trout water everywhere. We love fishing a color variation with that kind of pedigree, especially one that's outpaced most other mayfly attractors in recent years.

This purple twist works just as well matching specific hatches like Blue Wing Olives, Mahoganys, Mayfly Duns, Green Drakes, and Tricos as it does serving as a general searching pattern when nothing specific is happening.
