The Race Face ERA eMTB 27.5in Boost Wheel was engineered specifically around those demands, starting with a deliberate 15% reduction in front wheel compliance over the standard ERA. The result is a wheel that maintains the trail-smoothing feel Race Face is known for under the added weight of a full-power eMTB rather than washing out through rough, high-speed sections.

The rear wheel is intentionally overbuilt. Thirty-two larger gauge spokes lace a 22.6mm deep rim profile to a heavy-duty Vault hub with 3-degree engagement and a reinforced steel axle — a build spec designed for the sustained torque and harder impacts that motorized riding generates lap after lap. Anvil Edge bead walls add tire protection across both wheels, and the 30mm internal rim width accommodates the wider tire profiles eMTB riders run for traction and stability. Carbon construction keeps the ERA eMTB lively and responsive despite the added beef, preserving the snap-back feel that makes the ERA platform worth riding in the first place.
