A four-way stretch Pertex Shield Air fabric breathes more as effort increases, so a hard push up a skin track or a steep scramble doesn't mean overheating halfway through. Inner leg gaiters and hem reinforcements hold up against crampons, rock, and rugged terrain underfoot.
