First Rab purchase
Wanted something light but warm and different to my other jackets. Hit the target on all points. Bing 6ft 3 and having a slim waist, I tend to find Jackets are big around the middle, but this fits well and hugs the body. Had numerous comments on how good it looks.

This is a mega and is my go to jacket.
Overall, the Rab Cubix Down Hoody is an exceptional piece of outdoor clothing that provides superior warmth, protection, and style. If you're looking for a high-quality jacket that can handle anything the outdoors throws your way , I have saved money on my heating bill because of it and stylish which some out door clothing can be lacking in.

This is a nice jacket. The warmth to weight ratio is decent, considering the stretchy, durable material, and it's fairly comfortable. The fit didn't work for me--too tight under the arms--but that's a common problem for me, and I may be a bit of an outlier in terms of back/shoulder shape. Also, for me, the jacket had a bit too much space in the mid-section, which affected thermal efficiency. And since the underarms were tight, I couldn't layer to fill in the space. I'm 5'6" and weigh about 148 lbs, but mediums are often a bit small in the shoulders for me, this jacket might work well for many people.

Really comfy jacket, the stretch
Really comfy jacket, the stretch allows good range of motion. It is very good against the wind and with hydrophobic down makes it a really good winter jacket.

Great quality, almost 100%
Great style and quality as usual. My only niggle is the hood. Hoody jackets generally feature basic hoods with little or no adjustment. This means that the size of the hood is critical. Some manufacturers go for a tighter fit - the patagonia micro puff is far too tight in my view. the Arcteryx hoodies go for a much looser fit with a cord to tighten at the back of the head as do some of the mountain equipment hoodies. This jacket is a looser fit with no adjustment and without a beanie on your head will turn inside it as you look from side to side. I have a large hat size and short hair, and find this is happening. possibly a baseball cap peak would help to stop this. I think Rab should pay attention to this as much as they have paid attention to the styling. For the price of the jacket it should be a little better in this regard.
