It?s absolutely massive

I love the look of this flannel and it was heavily discounted so I took a punt on it. Size chart says a small is 35-37? chest. I could have made a double breasted jacket out of the amount of fabric. After boiling water and vinegar, soaking the shirt for five mins, then finishing in the drier on medium heat I was able to shrink this shirt down to a wearable size. Why four stars? It?s a REALLY nice top. It?s thick, heavy, and will be perfect for crisp autumns and cool damp springs. It blocks a significant amount of wind so as long as it?s not actively raining it?s extremely comfy. Had I paid full price it would have been a return. Sizing shouldn?t be ?that? off.

Thick like what you would expect.

I have purchased a few flannel shirts that have been quite thin. Which is fine, but when this shirt showed up, I was kinda shocked at the thickness and how it reminded me of the old time flannel shirts. I was wearing it open with a t shirt on underneath, my wife and I were heading out the door to walk the dog, it was fairly cold out for the Seattle area and she asks me.. "Aren't you going to put on a jacket?" Me.. "This is all I am going to need, it is warm and thick as hell.." No problem staying warm at all. It is so thick that it doesn't allow the wind to blow through it. If you are looking for an old school, super warm flannel to wear, this is it.
