This is my husbands ONLY & “go to” Sun Protection Hoodie! He has 3 of them, wears them 6 days a week, year around! Whether at home working, hiking, rock climbing in the California desert, backpacking in the high elevations of the Sierra Nevada’s, or on a wall...the Prana Calder Pullover Hoodie is his staple. He is 6’3, 185 lbs., & wears an XL...Would like it if Prana made one a little lighter in weight, otherwise a prized piece!

Awesome Sun Hoody!

I was able to do some camping and backpacking in Havasupai earlier this year and got a little more sun than I would have liked. So I picked up one of these Prana sun hoodies and right after I returned and have used it all summer long. I love it! I went with the Large size and it fit so well. Loose enough that I could wear another shirt underneath, but not too baggy. I'm not a huge fan of sun screen myself so this was an excellent discovery : )

I purchased this hoodie before a two month bikepacking trip in Iceland. I can't remember a single day where I didn't wear it. This hoodie is comfortable and true to size. It is a versatile layer that is the perfect balance between a cozy hoodie and a breathable wicking shirt. It has held up on days where it was 50 degrees and windy and when it was 95 in the desert. The only problem is now I need to buy more of these so I can wear one everyday.
