    Comfortable Glove - Weak Durability

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

I bought these at the end of the season in 2019 - very comfortable glove, kept me warm, but there was two big flaws. The durability of these didn't seem to hold up well being a snowboarder. The picture I took has about 4 weekends of use. The leather seems to be a little too weak to hold up (my guess is this was happening during binding tightening or grabs) . I had gore-tex gloves previous to this that also seemed to be a lot better with water proofing, these POW gloves soaked up quite a bit of liquid even after being treated.

Hey Jordan, go to https://www.powgloves.com/pages/returns and submit a warranty request. We stand behind our motto 'Built to Last' and will take care of you. The leather is DWR treated, but at times it does absorb water if the conditions are wet enough. However, there is a Gore-tex barrier built between the leather and insulation that is meant to keep your hands dry even if the shell gets wet.

    So happy with them!

    Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I ordered some Burton Warmest Mittens but found them to be far too bulky and cumbersome. I returned them and bought these instead. I LOVE the minimalistic design, but love that it's made with Gore-tex and still keeps your hands toasty! It's not ski season any more but I already love them and can't wait to try them out when I ski instruct. I went with a size medium for my larger than average female hands (I'm 5'11" )

    Waterproof mitten

These mittens are made with Goretex so they’re super waterproof. However, they’re not super thick. Might have to add a liner to them for cold days.

    Great Stealthy Mittens

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I'm a huge fan of wearing mittens vs. gloves while snowboarding. The Gore-Tex lining keeps my hands dry all day and the low-profile, lightweight insulation keeps them from sweating and overheating on most resort days here in the Wasatch. That being said, I would definitely use a liner on days below 5 to 10 degrees F or maybe upgrade to the POW Stealth GTX warm mitten. I really love the low profile fit, the stealthy black leather look, and the function of the wrist leashes to keep from losing a mitten while performing more dexterous tasks between runs.

    Quality Glove

    Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love this glove, I am not usually a mitten fan, these are sleek enough, not clunky and kills it on a cold pow day. Super soft on the inside and breathes easy, I have not been out in the conditions enough to put it to the test, but I am confident with the Gore-Tex insert that I won't run into any issues.

    The Royal Crowned King

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These mitts have a unique ability to hold heat when it matters, but have a slim and sleek profile. If you're a skier you'll notice the thinsulate insulation feels like memory foam when you're gripped to the pole. I have the Auburn color and get lots of compliments on the look and style of these bad boys!

    So cozy!

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These gloves work great on powder days! It's been cold in our mountains this year in Utah and these gloves have really surprised me with how warm they have kept my hands. The insulation inside hugs your hands and really warms them up on the coldest of days, at times I have to take them off because my hands start to sweat. The Gore-tex works great and has kept me completely dry!
