Require Sunglasses
The POC Require Sunglasses take styling cues from '60s sunglasses with their instantly recognizable rounded lines and keyhole cutout. Although inspired by old-school shades, the Require Sunglasses certainly aren't lacking in modern tech or precision optics. The nylon lens by Carl Zeiss Vision delivers clarity when you're cranking away under blinding sunlight. Withstanding regular abuse on your bike, the Grilamid frame is durable enough to survive accidental bumps and drops during high-octane pursuits. Hydrophilic nose pads prevent slipping when you're pouring sweat or riding through rainy conditions.

Easily scratched lenses
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I loved these sunglasses for about a week for gravel riding, running and casual everyday use until they got scratched in the tiniest fall from my head as I was bending over to fix my bike. So disappointed! The mirrored lens on the Tortoise Brown Violoet/Silver Mirror Clarity option seems particularly prone to scratching. The lenses just aren't durable for the intended use. Priced at $230, I figured they would be higher quality. Very sad, as otherwise these fit so well on my smaller head and looked pretty good for a casual pair of sunglasses, too. Backcountry let me return them with a credit instead of a refund so now I have to spend the money somehow. I'm pretty disappointed.
