The Shadowcat trail bike replaces the Mach 5.5 in Pivot's lineup, trading grams against Pivot's own Trail 429 to land just 45 grams over the featherlight Mach 4SL despite running a full 140mm of rear travel. Its Ultra-Light Hollow Core carbon frame keeps that weight down without asking the dw-link suspension to compromise, so pedaling efficiency doesn't disappear just because the number on the scale did. A 65.8 degree head tube angle paired with short 430mm chainstays keeps the ride quick into corners instead of planted and numb.
