A big part of the reason you upgraded to a mirrorless camera setup was to shave weight, so why are you still lugging around a bulky strap designed for a heavier DSLR? Peak Design created the SlideLITE Mirrorless Camera Strap specifically for CSCs so you can fully appreciate the lightweight benefits of going mirrorless. It contains all the same groundbreaking features of the Slide strap, but with a slimmed-down 1.25in wide strap.
Since your CSC setup is going to be much lighter, Peak Design got rid of the internal padding found on the slide to cut down on weight and bulk. Other than that difference, the SlideLITE retains all the versatility and convenience of the Slide. Anchor Link quick-connectors let you wear the SlideLITE as a sling, a neck strap, or a shoulder strap, and smooth and grippy sides of the strap allow it glide over clothing or stay put exactly where you want it, depending on what you need for the situation.

Favorite Ever Camera Strap
I absolutely love this strap. It connects with the Peak Design Micro Anchors (included) which also makes it super easy when I want to disconnect the slide lite and attach the leash (wrist strap).
I travel with a mirrorless camera and this strap is comfortable enough to walk around with the camera hanging from my neck all day without much discomfort.
It's just an added bonus that it looks as good as it does.
Slim but strong and versatiile
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
The Peak Design SlideLITE Mirrorless Camera Strap is a slimmed down version of the Peak Design Slide Camera Strap and has all the same great features. Many buy mirrorless cameras for their smaller, lighter design so why should you use the same bulky camera strap as you do with a DSLR?
The SlideLITE strap uses the same seatbelt style webbing and Anchor Link connection system as it's bigger brother. That means those little red connectors are still made of climbing grade Dyneema and still rated to 200lbs each. Think your current camera strap could hold that? Besides being incredibly strong, the Anchor Link system can attach or detach your camera from the trap in seconds with one hand. That way you can remove the strap when it's not needed on a tripod or even just to stow away easily in a pack.
It has a grippy side for when you want it to stay put, a slick side for when you don't, and the length adjusters are the easiest I've ever used to adjust on the fly.
I've used Peak Design for years and highly recommend it. Reach out if I can help you find the right gear for your needs.
