    Wanted to love this.

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium

I really like the look of this new line. I am not sure if I got a defective product, or if the design is flawed, but the collar would not lay flat and had a large kink in it near the zipper on either side. Fit was a little smaller than the fit of the snap pullovers. I am 6’ 165 and the medium was a little short in the torso and sleeves. I ended up returning because of the collar, but the material and color was great. My wife has the women’s version that doesn’t have the collar issue. Note that the material does shed a bit in the wash, so the lighter colors will get lint on the darker parts.

    Nice!

Ordered this one for my husband. He likes it alright- and considering that it is made out of some wool, it is pretty soft... he said he will only wear it with a long-sleeve cause it still is slightly scratchy. Other than that, nice!

      Live and breathe Patagonia!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Started out with 2 l/s responsibili-tee’s and now I’m hooked! Bought this and I’m incredibly happy, it looks amazing and feels nice and toasty. PERFECT fall jacket. A critical buying point for me was the sustainability and recyclability. Pretty much true to size but I went up a size in order to layer for an upcoming trip to the mountains of Peru.

      Great so far

I just got the Patagonia Woolyester a couple weeks ago. It fits true to size, is soft and comfortable and has a nice retro aesthetic. I can sometimes wear Patagonia in medium; however, I'm glad I got this in Large for the extra length it provides (if you're on the fence, I'd go up). This will be a go-to fleece for me this fall once the leaves start to fall. I've had a couple chances to wear it on cold nights in Breckenridge and it was great - I would say it is comparable to the warmth of a traditional Patagonia Synchilla fleece.

      How warm is this fleece?
Would I be able to wear this below 40 degrees?

Below 40 degrees this likely wont keep you warm on its own unless you are jogging. Used on its own just over a tee shirt I would estimate this to keep you comfortable to about 50 degrees or so depending on your personal level of warmth and exactly what activity you are doing.
