    Runs Small

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 117lbs

I Agree with others this jacket runs small. I have other Patagonia jackets and they are all smalls, but this jacket is too small for me. It is tight across my back and tight at the hips and bust. It's cute and if it fit I'd keep it. I gave it 3 stars due to the sizing.

    Nice jacket, but poor fit

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 105lbs

I decided to take a chance on this since it was on sale. It's a nice looking jacket, but the fit was very poor on me. I ordered a small. For me it was tight at the hips, huge in the chest (yet strangely tight across the back), and the sleeves were too short (and I have fairly short arms). I find that a lot of Patagonia items no longer work for me, although years ago almost everything they made fit me. I haven't changed size, so their patterns seem to have changed a lot over the years.

    great jacket

    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 130lbs

i wear this very often - the down keeps me super warm
the only issue i have with it is that the feather sometimes poke out through the fabric and i end up pulling them out...

Hey Paige, that's something that is going to happen to any down jacket, no matter the brand/price. Down just works it's way through seams. I would recommend NOT pulling the feathers out, because that makes the hole larger, and more down can work it's way through! Always make sure to pull the down back inside the jacket.

    Great Everyday Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XS
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 118lbs

This has become my everyday jacket for typical winter days. I have had not had the down migration issue that other reviewers mention. A couple of feathers, yes, but nothing more than typical down. I am typically an XS in Patagonia & this jacket fit as I expect a bomber would.

    Poor quality jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 140lbs

This thing just shed feathers so rapidly through all the seams that it had to be returned. Lovely color, cool *looking* design, but it would be completely featherless within a month of regular wear. Disappointing :/

    Cute and warm

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: M
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I love this coat. I am 5’6” and 125 lbs. I got a medium and it fits great. The coat is cute and stylish but very warm. The only issue is that I found is if the right pocket is unzipped, my sleeve snagged on it.

    Wanted it so bad

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 130lbs

Bought this for my mom as a Christmas gift. The jacket looks great and the fit is perfect. BUT the down is constantly coming through the fabric which makes distracting little white specks all over the jacket. Haven't returned, holding out hope it will stop loosing the down when it settles a bit.

    I like it.

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'5"

I like the jacket it seems to be high quality like all Patagonia items. However, I bought it for my girlfriend, and I believe she loves it as well. I have only seen her wear it once though so 🤷🏼‍♂️.

    Has Style and Comfort

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 5'6"

Great Patagonia jacket. It does fit rather small, and I have a bigger bust so getting the XL was a good choice. Hits around the hip and leaves room for movement and possibly an underlayer. I could wear this with a cute outfit and also just wear it running around town.

Love the jacket... a note on the Fit

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XS
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 113lbs

I just got the jacket yesterday. Super cute and feels great, wrapping it up and putting it under the tree. Just a quick note on fit. For Patagonia Gear, I usually wear an XS if the fit is listed as Regular and S if listed as slim fit. This jacket is listed as Regular fit so I ordered an XS. It fits much closer to a slim fit. I compared a S slim fit jacket I have with this jacket and they are exactly the same size: arms, shoulders, torso.

I'm ok with the slimmer fit, I'm not planning on wearing any big bulky items under it. If you want it to be roomier, order a size up.

    Super Cute Bomber

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This coat is super cute for fall & spring. The detailing is great & it is definitely warm. This does run a lot smaller than Patagonia typically does. I am 5'7" 115 & always buy XS in Patagonia & still have room. I prefer the Small in this coat for a little extra space to layer & arm length.

    Great transition coat

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Size Bought: small
    • Height: 5'0"
    • Weight: 100lbs

I got this to wear when my heavy winter coat was too heavy and warm. Overall, it is great. It does feather a bit which is a bit annoying, but overall it's warm and fits great. I am 5 feet tall, 100 pounds and the small has enough room for a sweater without being bulky.

    just wrong

    • Fit: Runs small

was really disappointed in this coat, not only in the color, looks grey more then green and waaaaaaaaay too small which is really odd because I have another patagonia coat in medium that I kinda swim in. I ordered a medium thinking I could wear a lightweight hoodie underneath if I needed but I think with the current sizing even wearing a base layer underneath would have been too snug. Also noticed a handful of feathers starting to poke out. Sucks because I really liked the way this looked online.

    This bomber bombed

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size

Was hoping to use this jacket as a city coat but it did not fit me well. I labeled it as true to size fit, I am typically a S in Patagonia, but the arms seemed a tad short and the overall length did too which might just be because I am a longer limbed gal and this jacket it more fitted compared to most of Patagonia clothing. I also didn't love how tight the bottom detail was.

Does this product run true to size? Or is it a narrow fit? do you recommend sizing up?
