Nothing nano about it.
Much like kids, winter weather can be predictably unpredictable, which is why items such as the Patagonia Toddler Boys' Nano Puff Jacket exists. Not so different than the adult version (though with the exception of its size), the Nano Puff Jacket is endowed with a durable and Bluesign-approved polyester material that withstands rough-and-tumble play and mellow hikes alike. Additionally, the DWR treatment fends off light precipitation and flurries, and the internal windflap, which is located beneath the front zipper, offers enhanced protection from warmth-sapping temperatures or winds. More importantly, however, the Nano Puff is equipped with the same eco-conscious PrimaLoft insulation as the adult version, providing warmth regardless of the weather.

We always head straight to Patagonia gear for our little guy. It's warm, durable, awesome colors and runs a bit big so it fits him for more than one season. This is nice because we can put him in his carseat and the jacket isn't too puffy to take away from tightening the straps. A good go-to piece!
Got a Nano Puff for the entire family

We are obsessed with these. They are awesome for travel and compact super tight but are also super warm! They can be a light jacket or be warm in colder weather. ITs amazing. We pair with a shell if the weather is rainy, or with a patagonia fleece underneath if its more chilly. Best layering jacket out there!
