    Warmth without weight.

Every gram counts against you when you trek into the alpine for skiing and climbing trips, so be sure to have the Patagonia Men's Nano Puff Bivy Insulated Pullover packed away. This ultralight puffy uses Primaloft Gold Eco insulation to give the touch of warmth needed for active endeavors in cold places, and it's so compressible the jacket stows inside the front pocket for compact convenience on your harness or in your pack. Patagonia treated the pullover's tough, recycled ripstop shell to shed snowflakes and raindrops. The Nano's hood fits under helmets with ease, and the adjustable hem stays secure under harnesses.

    • Ultralight packable pullover for alpine skiing and climbing
    • Highly compressible, water-repellent Primaloft Gold Eco insulation
    • Pertex Quantum Eco shell is windproof and water-resistant
    • Under-the-helmet hood and adjustable drawcord at hem

    Awesome Pullover

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 180lbs

Great day-to-day jacket, I use it year-round. Great fit and finish, durable and fits true to size. Also great as a base layer in the winter sliding down the hill. Highly recommend!

    Awesome jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 170lbs

Love this jacket. Some say that is runs small, however I think it fits true to size. I purchased a Large which is what I would normally wear and it fits perfect. Very lightweight yet very warm. Makes for the perfect base layer when snowboarding. This jacket is also great for casual wear around the city or wearing it out to the bar

    Another Nano Puff win

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: Runs small

It's no secret how much I love Nano puffs. I will tell every single human that i come in contact with how much i love them. I have been wanting the women's version of this pull over ever since they came out. HOWEVER, I put my selfishness aside and bought one for my dad as a gift instead. Now i'm jealous and want one even more. it is AWESOME. Multiple pockets and amazing light weight warmth. My dad is usually a size small but he actually fit in the size medium. Whether it's because of layering or because Patagonia may have switched up sizing a bit, not sure! He is usually a size small though across the board. I would recommend sizing up.

    Great jacket with solid mobility

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 160lbs

Great jacket that goes everywhere from climbing outdoors, to wearing out to the bar. Perfect almost year round for a Northern California Climate.

So far so good! Had to size up....

The sizing for this Pullover is a bit weird, had to go up a size as the inner stitching was more snug then the outer stitched layer. This made layering difficult. Usually regular fit doesn’t feel like a slim fitment.

      Comfortable and Warm

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Height: 6'0"
      • Weight: 160lbs

I love this pullover insulator, it keeps me warm and the packs away like a champ.

I always bring this with me into the backcountry, wear it under my shell skiing at the resort, and even wear it around town when I need to stay warm. The hood and kangaroo pocket are my favorite features, both stylish and functional.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding fit or sizing, I am happy to help out.

Love! Wear it all the time!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: small
      • Height: 5'6"
      • Weight: 150lbs

I love this coat! I bought the mens version because I have broad shoulders and it is perfect! The only thing about it that isnt my favorite is that by its self it not super warm, but it is a great layer! I have had it for months now and have worn it between 3 and 5 times a week and it is a bit dirty but completely tear free and stain free! Weather out backcountry skiing, climbing on a chilly day or just waering out and about it is a staple!
-Side note a mens might not work for women who have a larger bust.

      Warmth

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Large
      • Height: 5'8"
      • Weight: 160lbs

Good pullover, fits true to size. Zipper kangaroo pouch, which you can stuff the pullover into. Keeps me warm in the cold office. Overall happy with this purchase.

      The Kangaroo Pouch!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Medium
      • Height: 5'11"
      • Weight: 155lbs

I wear a medium in shirts that are made well with other materials besides cotton, but I wear a large in shirts that are standard cotton Ts made from China. The fit on this is slightly large so I bought a medium in this and it's perfect. In the reviews below, MJPrator has the exact same measurements and bought the large and also says it's perfect but for me, the large would feel too baggy around my stomach.

This has the same high-quality design as the nano-puff.... but the kangaroo pouch takes it for the win!

Patagonia Nano Puff Bivy Insulated Pullo

A great mid layer or as a stand alone jacket for the town or trail. It won't block rain or snow, but the synthetic insulation still retains heat if it does get wet. I'm a huge fan of the kangaroo hand pockets (no zippers) and zippered pouch.

Great outer layer in camp, runs small

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love this as an outer layer over a lightweight fleece in camp,it is light and warm. Make sure you order a size up if this is your purpose. I am 5'11', 155#, and find large fits just right over the fleece.

        All the time

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought this to use primarily as a comfort layer at camp around the fire and on cold nights in the sack. It has become a daily wear around home and town due to its comfort, warmth without the weight or bulk and style. The pockets are thought out and no frills approach. Plus it is Patagonia and supporting such companies insures our love of the outdoors will have a voice when threatened. Don't think twice about this jacket.

Cant take it off. In a good way.

        • Size Bought: Large
        • Height: 6'3"
        • Weight: 175lbs

Light and packable. Comfy. stylish. And usually my body is really good at regulating its temperature but I get very warm in this thing.

        Great lightweight pullover!

        • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
        • Fit: True to size

I bought this for my very outdoorsy nephew and his new wife as a wedding present. They both love to ski, backpack, bike and camp and have used this jacket for all activities. Warm and lightweight. Perfect as a mid layer or go to jacket.

        best yet

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: True to size

This might just be the best version of the Nano Puff yet. Years ago Patagonia made a similar Down Sweater version of this, and I've been waiting for it to come back ever since. The Nano Bivy has all the great lightweight/warmth/packability benefits of the regular Nano Puff, in a little bit different (and better?) style. The zippered pocket has lots of storage, and the main pocket is just like your favorite pullover hoody. I barely take this thing off all winter long...

        My sister loves this thing!

        • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
        • Fit: True to size

I gave this jacket to my sister as a gift as she prefers a mens cut to a women's but she absolutely loves the jacket. It is light weight and a great layer in her ski jacket quiver. Overall she says its her favorite jacket!

        Unanswered Question

I just received my patagonia mens torrentshell pullover. Its a size medium. Its a little loose and bunchy in the arms but I want that to layer.
I'm gonna order this patagonia nanopuff bivy pullover... should I get the small or medium? I will only wear a merino or light fleece underneath so dont want as roomy as my torrentshell medium fits... thanks
