Brought this to pack for a trip and use as a beach bag. Folds small and opens to a perfect size. Zipper compartments make searching for important things easy!! Blue is a great bright color. Great quality. I know I’ll get tons of use.

I had an older model of this convertible shoulder/backpack but was always frustrated that the front-pocket zipper was vertical -- it was awkward to dump stuff into it, and stuff kept falling out if it wasn't zipped up. Checked Patagonia and this better version exists (horizontal zipper, you can just drop stuff into it), kept googling and suddenly Backcountry had this model in the color I'd chosen and ON (big) SALE! Fine service, it arrived promptly and is just great. I'm impressed. I wish it stood up a bit better on its own, but I hang it from a doorknob.

Great for alternative diaper bag!

I bought this for my baby to use as her diaper bag as we really don’t like the design or look of traditional bags. It has been awesome! It has enough pockets for some organization, side water bottle pockets on the outside, padded straps, and super lightweight material. The only thing I wish it had was a small waist strap, but again, it’s really not designed to be heavy duty. I would definitely recommend this to others as an alternative to a regular diaper bag.

We actually use this as a diaper bag for our four and two year old. We can hold diapers wipes changes of clothes and a foldable toilet seat in it. It fits on the stroller well and is easy to wash.

This is a fantastic pack but ultimately I have to return because I had hoped it would be sturdier for use as a grocery hauler and I don’t think that is a great idea. It does have a sternum strap and would make a great beach bag or travel carry on. But for EDC I am going with a more reinforced bag. This one is good to keep packed in its own pocket inside your other travel bag to use as a day bag, but that is not a use case I have on my bingo card!

I love this bag! It’s light, rolls up small when I don’t need it, has great features, and the blue is so pretty! Great quality.

bought this bag specifically for a 10 day trip to hawaii with young kids. it worked great for the airplane, as a beach bag, on hikes and other day trips and just general outings. the pockets are perfect for organizing everything, the backpack is comfortable, it was easy for my husband and i to adjust if he wanted to carry it, and it packs down so small when you're done! i loved how much it could fit (more than my day pack) and i could use it as more of a purse when we went to nicer restaurants and didn't want to have a "backpack". this is now my go-to bag for family trips!

I picked one up so that I could have a light weight rope bag & essentials carry bag, that top loaded for a windy multi pitch climb I hadn't prepared for. Ran to an REI and this seemed light weight and the price was right. I thought it wouldn't be that durable and that it was more of an emergency, one time use option. Boy was I wrong!! It's super light weight (almost weightless), can fit a harness, shoes & quickdraws when carrying a rope separate (and is strong enough). It square & holds a good shape even when not filled all the way (much better than a flash pack of any sorts!). I found myself using it all the time for good weather, quick single pitch days when I didn't want to carry much. What's nice is that it completely rolls up when empty :) Not the most comfortable for longer days with lots of hiking (I'd grab another bag for that) but soooo glad I picked it up!

I’ve used and beaten up this bag nearly every day for the past 7 years and it has never let me down. I wish it was a little more water proof but other than that, it’s nearly perfect.

This ultralight Tote/backpack is made of recycled plastic and is super versatile. It packs very nicely into it's inside pocket. It greatly exceeded my expectations. Buy it!!!!
