Bought for study abroad

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Size Bought:
100L

I bought this bag for my son to take to Europe for his study abroad semester. It held a lot of clothing and is quite durable but he really hasn't put it to any great test.

Great quality, great buy

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I was fortunate to find this on sale from Backcountry. High quality bag, though very expensive when full-price. Was perfect for a three-week trip through Europe. Rolled it through many airports, city streets, over cobblestones, etc. and it held up well.

I bought this duffel a month ago for a trip to Greece. Traveled through Montreal where it rained and everything stayed dry. Plenty of room for a 14 day stay with no issues.

Big dog!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Have had the smaller Patagonia roller for years. Needed a larger bag to travel to Zambia, Africa. This did the job. Plenty of room (with packing cubes) for everything needed for a 18 day trip. Even able to add in gifts and donations. 50 lb limit for airlines, still easy to maneuver.

Favorite travel bag as a family!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

We bought one a year ago and loved it so much we bought a second. So much easier to have a big duffel with wheels when traveling as a family. Nothing worse than having to pay $10 for a trolly at the airport - not necessary with these bad boys!

Have a 70 w back pack straps and a new 100 roller. Together managed a weeks gear for two, including a bundle of cosmetics and some snorkel gear. Happy to like.

This is our second 100L roller Patagonia Black Hole bag. These bags are perfect for kids going off to sleepaway camp. They hold so much and hold up well! The red is a great color to distinguish ours from all the other luggage!

Black Hole Magic

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I mainly wanted to say the Black/Fitz Trout logo , takes the place of the Patagonia brand name as see on the others. This thing is bomber AF, easily pack too much , cuz' it can fit it and handle it! Durable, can handle the airports and in between, super solid. I have other Black Holes , in different sizes, love them all!

Well Built Bag

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This is a solid, well-built bag. We have this same version without wheels and, while we love it, it can get a bit heavy. I've checked this through a number of flights and it's remained in great shape. We'll probably be purchasing another one soon.

High Quality Checked Bag

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Size Bought:
100L

This bag is everything I'd hoped it would be for my go-to checked bag. It's large enough to hold a week's worth (or more) of business/winter clothes and shoes with room to spare. High quality, very durable wheels and frame AND it looks good - very easy to distinguish from the other bags coming off the belt at arrival. I live in a small house and this is easily tucked in a corner for storage, taking up less than half the space that a hard shelled luggage with comparable capacity would. Very pleased with my purchase from Backcountry.
