    Support without the hassle.

The Patagonia Women's Barely Bra delivers comfortable all-day support without the hassle of clasps, wires, or migrating straps. This performance bra has non-slip racerback straps that won't dig into your skin, making for irritation-free wear, especially when you're wearing a pack. The underbust panel offers support for B/C cups, and its modern geometric jacquard print helps to wick moisture on hot summer days. Additionally, you'll find an internal cup pocket that allows for pads/inserts (cups included).

    True to it's name

It barely feels like it's on. It's a great bra for around the house, running errands, and low impact sports such as walking/hiking. I can wear it for hours and not feel the need to take it off like all of my other bras and sports bras. The material dries quick and the fit is true. I would not run in this bra, even though I am only a B cup. It does not provide much support. It's nice that it doesn't give you the uni-boob. It is flattering.

    best bra ever

This is the most comfortable and supportable bra ever. Usually you have to give up one for the other, but not so here. I love it and only take it off to wash it.

    My go to sports bra.

Here's some comments from my gf on this bra:

The Barely Bra has been one of the better bras I have owned. I am small chested, so I don't have to worry about needing a lot of support. I have worn this bra running, biking, to the gym, and practicing yoga. Honestly, I wear it under casual clothes as well because it's so comfortable. The cutout detail is really cute and can add to an outfit if it happens to stick out as opposed to other bras that just look too sporty. I currently own two and definitely plan on getting more.

Didn't think it was possible to truly love a bra but I love this one. Its very comfortable and enough support for me. I ordered a small I am a 32D in a regular bra and this fits me just fine. Will be ordering more.

    Barely there, indeed

This bra is is so thin and light you really do forget you're wearing it. The modesty cups are a nice shape that lay seamlessly against you, so you can't see the edges of them through the bra or a thin shirt. The split straps in the front offer a pretty little detail, so that you don't have to worry about keeping it totally covered up. I got this in the big sur blue for that reason - many of the other colors seemed to light or pastel-ish to allow to peek out of tanks or tees. Too much like underwear. The brighter color makes it seem fun and intentional - cuz lets face it, with all the strappy yoga tops and whatnot, when do you ever find a bra that actually has the same shape as the straps in a top anymore?

I'm 5'1" and 110lb. I used to wear a 34 B at VS, but discovered within the last year that a 32 C is a much better fit - it allows me to hook the smallest adjustment which is somewhere between a 30-32. Having said that, I think that anyone smaller around than me would probably want to try the xs instead of the small. I ordered the small, and the chest fits nicely, but it can be a bit skitchy around the middle. Doesn't move enough to bother me, but it's something to keep in mind if you're slightly on either side of those measurements.

    Can't wait to get another

Love the fit and feeling of this bra. It's soft enough to wear to sleep but supportive enough for everyday active use. Breathable and lightweight--you almost forget you're wearing it! I'm a 32B and bought a small. I was going to get an XS but the color I wanted was sold out, so I took a chance. Usually, bras like this run big on me, but a small fit perfectly. I want one in every color :)

I am still all about this bra...

I just bought 2 more of these! They are seriously some of the most comfortable lightweight bras.

As I mentioned before, definitely not intended for high impact activities, like running, especially if you're on the chesty side, but for casual use they are awesome.

    Best bra ever

Perfect lightweight sports bra, super flattering, and incredibly comfortable. I wouldn't wear it for high impact activity, as it's definitely not the most supportive sports bra I've ever had, but it does the job of a regular bra, without all the wires and straps. I definitely want to snag another one or two.

    Redemption!

I've been disappointed with Patagonia bras and panties the past couple of years. After trying different brands, I decided to go back and try these with the inserts. Wow! It has the same breathability I missed. The inserts are flattering and don't get misshapen in the wash. I can wear them doing anything from the riding, hiking, kickboxing and a night out. Its so comfortable and the cut and inserts keep you looking clean and sexy. What more could you want? Oh, and the violet blue color works with so many other shirts I have. Only bummer is that it sits kinda high when you wear a deep v-neck.

    Just right.

This bra is exactly what it ought to be—supportive, shaping, comfortable, smooth under shirts, and easy to wash (although, yes, you have to straighten out the pads). I have two and wear them for yoga, climbing, hiking, camping, yard work or anything else where I really want to move. They don't pinch or bind or slip around and look great. As for sizing, I'm 32D and the small is perfect. Huge improvement over any other active bra I've tried, including other Patagonia options.

I needed a bra for travel to an area without air conditioning. I wanted something that would be comfortable for a long plane trip, in sweaty locales, and easy to wash in the hotel sink. I got more than I imagined with this bra! I wear it all the time at home and to the office because it is comfortable and hides well under clothes. I wear an XL for my 36DD bust. I currently own three of these bras. I recommend removing the cup pads when washing. The cup pads retain their shape and padding better when washed infrequently.

I love this bra, it is very comfortable and is great for hiking, camping or just every day. After a few days of heavy wear, it still holds it's shape and doesn't smell, which is a huge plus. The only thing that might be an issue is inconsistent sizing. I bought a small in black and a small in rosewater and they are nearly a whole size different, the rosewater is almost like an XS. I wear a 32/34DD and I could have gone with a medium, but I like a little more compression and support so the small worked well. Overall I love this bra!

    This is it!

Soft, supportive, light, easy. Always wanted a Patagonia bra because their fabric excels, however they've been too flattening or flimsy...until this one. I am a 34C, 135lbs., 5'9 wearing size Medium. Perfect fit. No pulling on the shoulders(which is a common problem for me.) I wear it every day...all day. Goodbye snaps, velcro, hot, heavy bras. Thank you Patagonia for a bra that holds up the larger cup sizes. (I don't use the insert pads.)

    Very Comfortable

I love this bra! It almost feels like you're not wearing one. It is breathable, light weight and very comfortable. It is padded which is a plus and has great support. Wore this for several days in the desert and it didn't stink and dried quickly. Will be ordering more!

    Almost XS

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large

I wish I could give this bra a 5-star review. The material is silky. The design was clearly well-thought out. But — like most of Patagonia's product line — it runs large. When I lift my arms above my head, it slides up my ribcage (the nonslip material is limited to the straps). Even at the sale price, $30 is too much for a bra that doesn't stay put, so unfortunately, it's going back.

For reference, I'm a 30B. All of this is probably moot for the average lady.
