I ordered an XL, was way too long in the torso and arms. I exchanged it for large, and that was very tight in the torso and shoulders. It appears that outdoor research is now designing product only for those that are very slim. It’s unfortunate because I have a lot of outdoor research clothing, but doubt that I will attempt to purchase anything further from this company.

Love the thumb holes (more like thumb flaps really) and the fit. Pockets are spacious and zippered, which is always a plus. Chest pocket is an addition that is not found in all jackets of this style and I really like it. Would recommend as a lightweight outer layer in spring/fall weather. I personally do not wear it under a shell often bc I don't like hoods under shells, but one could totally use it for that.

Amazing Hoodie!

The fit was perfect that allowed me wear a light layer underneath. The quality of the hoodie is great. I have worn under my coat to ski as well as just with a layer for a mild winter day hike. It was so good and that I going to order another one is a different color. Expectations met!

Not the perfect hoodie

I wanted to love this hoodie but it falls short in terms of fit and durability. I worked it for a one week business trip and it never saw conditions s beyond airports and carryon bag straps. It already shows wear. The fit is awkward as well especially around the wrist cuffs. I belive the new version resolves the fit issues and hope it addresses durability as well.

I like this jacket

Since it has grid fleece on the inside and a tight weave of nylon on the outside, I feel that it's a bit warmer than others. Very comfortable and a good mid layer

Nearly perfect fleece layer

I love the vigor full zip. It's incredibly lightweight and comfortable while still providing warmth when needed. Very breathable too. My only knock is a medium is a little long in the torso and arms, while the small is too tight along the body. I'm 6'2" 180 and shocked that the medium seemed big. If you're my size and want to layer or be casual, get the medium, but if you need a close fitting mid layer, go with the small. I plan to use this for everything, but since I run hot, this will likely be my outer layer.

Perfect

I wanted a synthetic shirt that would breathe well while running, but give me some protection from the rain. This hoodie is perfect and I love how the hood fits snug around my head. The sizing was right on.

My favorite athletic hoodie with waffle fleece. Keeps you warm in the cold while active and cool when it starts to warm up. I love this hoodie for running in the cold.

Excellent Grid Fleece

I've had the opportunity to use my Vigor grid fleece on several outings, both as a part of a layering system or used with an echo hoody base layer and the Vigor alone, and in all scenarios it has performed wonderfully, offering good warmth and breathability no matter the conditions. Build quality seems solid as well so as long as it holds up over time I would rate this as five stars and an excellent product for hiking and trail running.
