    Works so-so

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Light and correct sizing for trail hikers but relies on a rubberized strip of material to remain fixed to heel. This scheme doesn't work reliably and the gaiter constantly works it's way up the back of the shoe. Over time the rubber strip's grip will get worse making the problem worse. Not sure this is a deal breaker because it still provides a dust barrier in the lace area but not necessarily around the ankle. Finding a better way to fasten to heel would definitely make these 5 stars.
