I would buy another pair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like aerogel products, and the gloves are a great example of a quality glove with good insulation.

Not waterproof but warm and tactile

I used these for a snow climbing trip. Felt quite warm and was able to use them for most tasks that didn't need a lot of precision. Climbing wet snow they became waterlogged. I was somewhat surprised but how much water were holding because my fingers were still warmer than I would have expected. I squeezed out most of the water and they were dry again after several hours in the sun.

OR gloves are the gold standard of gloves and these are no exception. Perfect park day gloves

Terrible investment. Don't buy. Great for only the 1st day.

I started out loving these gloves but then they turned out to be one of the worst investments ever. The problem is is that the aerogel doesn't stay in its place and basically groups up into a ball in one place of the glove and then your hands are freezing. Completely unacceptable for gloves that cost more than $100 total waste of money. If the aerogel actually stayed in place they would be great gloves.

These are the worst gloves I have ever owned

After being outside in about 40 degree weather my hands are freezing wearing theses gloves. They are a complete waste of money. Don't buy theses gloves get something else

Comfortable and sturdy, but gloves are never as good as mits

Not as warm as I had hoped, but very sturdy. I would recommend adding a small layer in those particularly cold ski or runs in the winter.

Not warm at all

The fit on these is good and seem true to size. The grip is great . The insulating factor however is non existent, my hands were cold quickly at 35 degrees with no wind.

Technology still not there

I was intrigued with the aerogel technology, I have heard of it before. With these gloves it did not work. I live in Alaska and I really need my gloves to work. Consistently my fingers froze every time I use these gloves. There is no insulation around the fingertips. On top of that one of the fingers had a blowout on the inside and got aero gel all over my hand. For a spring skiing gloves they may be pretty good, but not for a cold winter glove.

Good down to 20F

Bought these to snowshoe and Xcountry ski. Have used them 3 to 4 times a week throughout last winter and this year. Fit was good, tactile texture on the palms is a plus, as noted in other reviews the gel tends to clump over time, pull strap in the cuff is a nice touch. They are however not waterproof/windproof and using poles even with exertion only good down to about 20F, add a windchill and even less. Had to go back to mittens and or the bulky military issue extreme cold weather gloves for those days lower than that. On a side note I'd really like to see OR produce some sort of removable soft cloth patch on the back of the glove for wiping your nose.
