It works if you like the style and color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Small, light, compact, easy to pack. Very practical. Cons: Wife says it looks like a child's cap and she hates the color. I laughed about that.

Lightweight and keeps the sweat away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own this hat in every color. It keeps the sweat off my face well and is super lightweight. It's easy to adjust and seems to be durable enough for my purposes. It does show salt discoloration a bit over time but I'm a big fan. Since it is so lightweight it does not hold water well so when it's really really hot I'm dunking it in streams every chance I can.

Stays on your head pretty well but looks a bit silly and flat and shiny. Easy to stuff in your pocket. Too muvh branding for me.

I would recommend this to others!

I bought this hat to have something to wear during Hoopfest. It worked wonderfully. It dried rather quickly, was light weight, and stayed on without issue while playing along a river with wind.

Effective, packable, lightweight

Works as advertised! Sole caveat is that due to its light weight, it could fly away in a high wind.

perfect for exercise

I wear this light, breathable hat during intense workouts. I keeps my hair out of my face and sweat out of my eyes. I rinse it in running water after each workout and it is ready to go the next day.

Gremlin Hat - Don't get it wet

The brim material separated and bubbled after the first sweaty use. It completely separated after the first hand washing and looks bad. It's an expensive hat comparatively speaking.

Best cap I've tried yet!

What I look for in a cap: 1. Wind protection 2. Sun protection 3. Lightness 4. Foldability (I can quickly store it in my pocket) 5. Washability (how easy it is to clean) I give this cap a 5/5 on all of the above. I thought my older Active Ice cap from OR could not be beat, but this one outdoes it. I wish they made a model of the Helium cap with ear flaps like my old Active Ice cap. Then I would own both!

Updated Review

Updated review. The purple color way was sent back for water due to turning transparent on first wear. I replaced it with the black color way. No issue of changing color or turning transparent as wit the Haze color. Hat is incredibly lightweight, comfortable and my goto hat. Thanks for the help on the color swap OR.
