Why We Like The Ferrosi Pant

If you can't wear your current pants to mountain peaks, on long plane rides, and to the brewery after the crag, then it's time to upgrade to the Ferrosi Pant from Outdoor Research. Not only does the lightweight nature of the pant make it an easy choice for light-and-fast movement in the mountains, it also prevents lingering moisture from clinging close to your body for hours on end. Accidentally tip your canoe? No worries, the Ferrosi's will be dry in no time.

The all-around performance of the Ferrosi have made them a top-seller for Outdoor Research and a staple for every outdoor woman's closet-in fact, you might even want a pair in every color. At only 9.5oz, they're the perfect addition to long backpacking trips and the cinch at the cuff makes them versatile for days on the trail that start cool and hit 70 by early afternoon.

Some of my favorite pants.

I love the Ferrosi fabric. Durable and stretchy. The fit is attractive as well.

Light weight and cooling!

I got these pants for a trip to lake Powell and the surrounding desert. They are super light weight and actually cool me down slightly. Highly Recommend!

Ferrosi = fierce

I love these pants. They are Outdoorgearlab's top pick for women's pants, and I see why. The lightweight, breathable, stretch fabric is leaps and bounds above the competition. It's all about comfort when you go for these. They won't disappoint. I hope they last for years.

Super comfortable

These pants are so comfortable I find it difficult to not wear them every day! I own three pairs now. I am 5'10 and the length is perfect. Definitely recommend them.

Great for tall slender people

I am 5'6 and weight 108lbs, it is so hard for me to find pants that fit. Not only do these fit great, they are long enough, light weight and breathable. I wear them every day and definitely need a few more! Great buy for sure

Will purchase again in the future

The gusset of the pants (no center crotch seam) makes them so comfortable and flexible for active pursuits. They are super stretchy for yoga and also durable when walking through scratchy brambles. I've seen them resist light rain as well. It just beads up and evaporates off them. Hiking in warm, humid conditions they do get a bit sweaty, but I think that's a trade off for their durability/water resistance. The fit is really flattering as well, and the long option is excellent. I really wasn't sure on the size, but the 6 ended up being just perfect. My waist where the pants sit is 34" and my hips are 39". Hope that can help someone else who is unsure on sizing.

Almost perfect!

Love the material of these pants, which don't wrinkle much and breathes well. However, I would like to offer some suggestions for improvement: the thigh pocket is a little too small for cell phones, though big enough for passports. The rise is also a little low. Other than this, this pant is awesome!

Ferrosi is always a good idea.

I have a Ferrosi jacket that I absolutely love and have packed everywhere with me so I thought I would try the pants. They do not disappoint. The only change I would make is a little less flare at the ankle. I love that they come in short sizes.
