This softshell jacket features a tightly woven polyester double weave fabric to completely block wind, resist all but the gnarliest of downpours, and easily shed snow. The extreme breathability of Schoeller underarm panels facilitate sweat evaporation; these underarm panels are treated with a NanoSphere DWR to resist moisture, dirt, and stains that inevitably build up over time. A wire-brimmed hood with stretch panels enhances peripheral vision, and DWR coated zippers resist moisture.
