I haven't worn them in the trail, but...

I really like these trousers. I read some people having concerns about their sizing and, out of the bag, they fit a little strange: thighs too tight, waistline too large, tight in the butt, and strangely long. So I left the tags on them and wore them around the house for a couple of hours. I read. I did the dishes. I vacuumed. And guess what? They fit perfectly... Except for the length of the legs. On me, the length isn't that off. I have 30" legs and these are the short side of 32" inches. I can live with that cuff length over my boots. It might be a problem for low ankle footwear. The trousers are stretchy, as they're supposed to be. I can me bring my legs to level with my waist. (They might go further but I can't.) I found them a bit itchy at first, but that has gone away after 3 hours. The pants legs have stretched to fit my legs so maybe it was that they were tight at first? I guess it doesn't matter. My verdict? Buy a pair and give them a couple of hours to find the fit of your body.

Generally Awesome Pant

Purchased these for husband in solid black color size L. He loves the adjustable waist, quality, relaxed fit, and styling that allow him to wear these for business casual/travel work. His feedback: Need slightly larger back left zipper pocket (for wallet) for left handers. Minimalist side cargo pockets to fit iphone would be welcomed for driving/traveling comfort. Would love to see these offered in solid colors for business casual--darker indigo, olive, and grey. We would buy more--Outdoor Research has winner here.
