It's great! But...
Great product! However, it's only 47% merino, which is not what I expected and lower compared to other products from similar companies. It's also very slightly thinner than I would expect. However, it's extremely warm and comfortable, so the thinness is actually a pro!

thin and the large is still really tight
So this is fine if you have a small head/neck and live in a climate with a mild winter. It's really thin and I'm just an average person. No one has ever said I have a large head or neck and the 'large' is tight. It's not great. I can't imagine how small the regular size is, yikes. I like outdoor research gear for many years, just not this neck tube. Not for the Canadian winters. I kind of regret buying 2 but the sale got me hooked. The 2 layer icebreaker is a better bet for sure.

Great item
Bought this as an all around neck warmer. Used it a couple of times, not disapointed. Might be a little cold for minus 30 celsius, would opt for a balaclava instead.

Bought it for my girlfriend who is running outside in very cold weather. He's loves it and feels warm when she has it but not too hot to feel uncomfortable.

Fabric is sub par for merino
I want to love this thing. But the fabric is rougher and scratchier next to skin than other brands like buff, icebreaker, smart wool. I will definitely buy future iterations of this thing when they work out the kinks in quality but it is not this day... womp womb
