Great lightweight option
If you're looking for something to go under a helmet and keep you warm even with some perspiration this is it. Perfect lightweight beanie for those days on the move.

Very thin, great liner, too thin to stand alone I think.
I like the additional later of merino as a liner, but it is MUCH thinner than I was expecting it to be. I think it's even too thin to be a running hat or something for high output activities in the cold when you still want something on your head or over your ears, as it's like you're not wearing anything. If you aren't expecting it to function as a standalone hat, it is a good liner, when you want a little extra something under a hat that lets too much air through, or as a layering option with another hat for a wider range of comfort when stopping/starting, etc. I wear it as liner under the corduroy bucket hat.

Not really a beanie, more of a liner
Very lightweight, best for under a ski or bike helmet or for cooler running. Very smooth on skin and excels when perspiring.

Thin under helmet insulation
Thinner than I thought but will make for good insulation under a helmet on cold but not super cold days.

Lightweight Warmth
Perfect layer by itself on cool runs and great for under my helmets, whether skiing, biking, or paddling. Love the lightweight material. It fits my smaller circumference head (55.5cm) and it also fits my husband's head fine (57cm).
