The Ortovox Men's Andermatt 2L Jacket boasts outstanding breathability for backcountry bounding up and down the skintrack. Its Toray Dermizax NX membrane has better waterproof ratings than most ski shells, and nearly double the breathability ratings of other high-performance shells—this membrane makes the jacket ideal for sweaty skinners in snowy conditions.
A limited edition in Ortovox's lineup, this Andermatt 2L Jacket is lined in black wool from the Swiss mountains, and this wool lining assures warmth and moisture management for even more comfort in the backcountry. Zippers under each arm circulate cool air through, and the powder skirt is removable to accommodate Ortovox's 3L Guardian Shell Pant.

- Q & A
Does not look anything like the picture
I was very excited to get this jacket. The promises were there the looks as well, and finally I got over the sticker shock and pulled the trigger. So imagine my disappointment when the jacket arrived and it was this soft and homie looking thing. It had NOTHING to do with the tight technical look on the pictures and website. Ortovox does not make the materials so I am not going to comment on that. The hood is way too tight and you can't even use it over POC helmet and the vents under the arms don't even have a mesh so if you ski with them open in powder or fall you are guaranteed a jacket full of snow and soaked under layers. Ortovox pants are even worse, see my other reviews. Huge disappointment
