O-Drive Snowboard Binding

The stiffest, most responsive weapon in Now's arsenal, it has a carbon fiber highback that cranks up the stiffness while reducing weight to deliver ultimate control when you're going full throttle. Best served with a stiff, true-camber board and a dash of recklessness, this binding is for riders who charge steep runs and lay down carves at full speed.

The Hanger baseplate has a hinge, inspired by the dynamics of a skateboard truck, that acts as a fulcrum to quickly and efficiently transfer energy from edge to edge. This means that instead of flexing your baseplate on turns, all of your energy goes directly to the edge, ultimately reducing foot fatigue and leg pain while improving response. Bushings at the contact points between the baseplate and the board reduce chatter for a smoother ride and prevent board breakage. The O-Drive includes medium- and hard-density bushings that are interchangeable depending on whether you prefer more dampening or response.

Flushcup technology places the highback above the heelcup so that the back of your boot is flush with both the highback and the heelcup, which not only improves response, but also gives you the option of riding highback-less with the Highcup insert (not included) for the ultimate surfy feeling. Looking at the binding's Flipit ankle straps, you'll immediately notice their tool-less adjustability that allow you to flip-flop the left and right straps for a different feel. Ride with the ankle straps in the upward position for extra lateral support and response or switch them to the downward position for great heel hold plus extra tweakability. Buckles 2.0 throw four notches at a time so you can strap in more quickly. The O-Drive also includes an ultra-durable forged aluminum disc that's compatible with both four-hole mounts and the Channel system so you can switch it between different types of boards with minimal effort.
