Not just for boys
I’ve been looking for some MTB pants (for women) that aren’t sold out in my size. Somehow it’s hard to find women’s MTB pants that aren’t sold out or aren’t super expensive. I needed some pants for cold PNW fall/winter weather. I bought these in small-I’m 5ft 4 130lbs on a good day and these fit great minus the length being a little long. But with the ability to Velcro the ankle I can cinch these up and ride without hinderance. I gave 4 stars because it’s sort of annoying to put knee pads on. I have the Troy lee speed knee pads and since I’m short they go up into my lower thighs so I need to hike them up pretty far. The side zips are great but if they went a bit farther it would be easier to slip on the pad. But for longer skin/knee guards the zips are perfect. I’m also short so for a taller person it wouldn’t be so much a struggle. And I’m talking minor inconvenience. Wait. These pants are great. Excellent knee articulation. Waist Velcro. Good seat and hip room for me. I’m narrow hipped but I do have a bubble butt. The pants fit snug in the butt area but not skin tight-I can still wear my chamois. A Size M would be way too big in length and waist. Good venting in the thighs. Good sized pockets to stash goods. Fits my big iPhone. Fabric is breathable but feels sturdy for wear and tear. I love the green with the bright zips. Plainly put-Norrona is quality, function and style!

Great pants for cycling
I ordered these with high hopes for wearing them for winter/snow single track mountain biking. They are really well made, have excellent cycling features (particularly the narrow legs with ankle cinchers and leg vents). However, they run a bit small. Being that I'm a big guy, I hoped XL would fit, and while I can put them on, they're tight so I had to return them. Definitely would recommend, just get a size up (which I can't do since XXL isn't available)!

Great softshell pants
Fit: Like many norrona products they run about a size small. I recommend going up one size from what you might normally order. Function: The pants have great access and adjustments. Just like my other norrona pants they have tiny front pockets! Are the cell phones in Norway smaller? The pants will keep you warm and dry in most conditions. Since they are a softshell do no use them for a down pour! Look: I love the colors of the norrona gear. I love colors! These will definitely have you standing out on your next trip. Four stars because I don't have a tiny cell phone for the pockets.

Great for cold weather riding
These pants are great for riding in cold weather. Super happy with them. But NOT recommended for rainy weather. I have found them to NOT be the least water repellent. The first time I tried them in the rain I was soaked through. The fit is perfect for cycling and easy to ride with. I use them mostly for fat tire biking in the snow and they are great for that - specially if you crash as much as I do! For wet weather - well, I'm still looking for something I really like. I have found the fit on Norrona pants to be a bit random from style to style. At 6'3", 175 lbs I find the L in this style to fit great. Plenty long in the length and the adjustable waist feature gives a good fit in the waist.

Where are the ventilation zips in this located? Are they on both sides and how long are they? Thanks, Ted
