Just pretend it stands for "lots of fun."

With a fun, surf-inspired shape, the Nitro Quiver NUAT Snowboard utilizes classic surfboard "wings" on the tip and tail for faster turns and easy maneuvering through tight spots in the trees. Standing for "Non-Un-Assymetrical Twin," this board's extreme pintail allows you to whip turns and toss up big sprays quicker than any board in your lineup, and it also boasts unrivaled control for easy slashing in deep, fluffy pow. Plus, the Cam-Out camber further enhances that surfy feel while riding through any conditions, all without sacrificing the support and response you need to escape hairy situations.

Delivering basically true camber, the Cam-Out profile has mellow camber between the bindings for pop and reliable edgehold, and early rise in the tip and tail for forgiveness and added playfulness in icy and deep conditions alike. The PowerCore II core uses tip-to-tail poplar wood, along with beech stringers, to deliver the ideal blend of flex, response, and flex. Bi-Lite laminates are engineered for exceptional strength, smooth flex, and an incredible board feel underfoot, while the Sintered Speed Formula HD base is both abrasion-resistant and lightning fast over varying conditions.

    • A surf-inspired and hyper-maeuverable snowboard for trees and tight spots
    • Camout camber provides poppy stability underfoot for going fast
    • All terrain flex great for big carves and snappy, quick turns
    • Progressive sidecut is less catchy and enhances out-of-turn acceleration
    • Powercore II wood is durable and lightweight—doesn't feel like a 173
    • Sintered Speed Formula base keeps you cruising on the cat track
    • Original artwork by rippers Austin Smith and Bryan Fox

    NITRO NUAT... 163 pow.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

163 might not be everyone idea of short, but it is mine as most boards I ride are 167 /183
THIS thing ,this muted camber powder beast is PROB the most fun board in deeper powder ive ever ridden but don't believe all the "surfy hype" its NOT even close to a surrboard on snow,, ? the nose on this makes it as surfy as battle ship galactica, true, the tail is ultra fun and whipable but that nose is best pointed DOWN the hill not up it! which brings me to its appeal. they say its a mid soft flex.. id say its stiffer than its made out to be and THAT is a good thing bec the nose doesn't get chattery when ur going at speed in pow, on piste..eeek.., but in pow , it holds in very , very well and slices thru the deep stuff without blowing pow all over ur eyes!!!!!
I THINK that funky cut out nose might actually work for reducing face spray. sight....., I tend to find Is an added advantage thru trees!
the ride is taught but you can whip it round like nothing else ,the nose doesn't sink and the camber actually works to drive thru the turns even in deeper pow. its a really fun ride and the best thing is in trees the turning circle is insanely fast and aggressive . you can wash speed and recover it in a heartbeat, its magnificent for this type of riding , my best board for trees, equals or maybe even beats the burton fish.. and that's saying something!
its pretty ordinary on piste unless its cold and cord. on scrapey bern its down right hideous, but so are most, its just the super wide nose gets chattery fast. but it aint made for that... it ALSO unlike it purported to be NOT even close to a good wall climb surf board.. that's a crappy claim by nitro.. this gets destryoed by moss and ogasaka for a surfy feel..
I LOVE this stick . love it had it out in knee some parts up to thigh deep cold blower and it ate it up, had it going flat out down 38* knee deep slope and this is where it was at its best. the base IS NOT fast tho . you need to give it a proper wax to get it to perform where others require a simple coat, so the steeper the slope the better it goes, I found it to be a bit laborious on 20* normall stuff. it didn't get bogged, not once but ,its just not a quick base . I scrpaed all the factory stuff off and re did it with a new job day 2 nd it was better but its stil a mile le behind the ogasaka bases.
def NOT an everyday stick there needs to be powder and trees to make this the best board in the quiver, its definitely is a quiver board ,and a ripper at that . its passed the fish for me now and it will be a fantastic addition .
highly recommend it for fun .fast, whippy driving ridiers that love to turn hard thru the snow not just blow over it .
really really good board, can imagine in the usa where its steeper and wider this wud be insane.
loving it in powder rate this a 9/10.

but it aint still a surboard!
