Niche's finely-tuned Multi-Camber blends powerful camber in the tip and tail with rocker between the feet, which adds a playful touch, not to mention a ton of extra float when it gets deep. A slightly-setback directional twin shape boosts float in the deep stuff and drive on hardpack while still allowing you to throw down switch. Serrated knife-like Magne-traction edges cut through ice to help you hold and edge on the iciest of slopes, and Hemp Hop stringers add pop the same way carbon fiber does, but with a much more environmentally-friendly material.

The wood topsheet eliminates the need for harmful plastics, lacquers, and chemicals, and it keeps the board strong and snappy. Basalt fibers replace fiberglass to make the board lighter, stronger, more impact-resistant, and of course more environmentally-friendly. Snappy Sap bio-resin is more elastic than normal resin and has high-adhesion properties to prevent delamination, plus it's far less toxic. A sustainable wood core keeps the board lightweight and snappy, and a bevy of recycled materials, including the steel edges and ABS sidewalls, all add up to make the Story the clear frontrunner for eco-conscious all-mountain board choices.
